Rebecca & Wade | Edmonton Engagement Session

July 20, 2017

FILED IN: Engagement

How are we already near the end of July? Its been a year since Wade proposed to Rebecca. A year of wedding planning, graduating from masters programs and planning a big move to Toronto. *cue the tears* It has been a year of planning for change and their future together, and this coming Saturday one of their biggest plans will come together, finally becoming husband and wife. I have been friends with Rebecca and Wade since grade seven, so sharing their story and capturing their love is a very rewarding job for me. They have been dating for nearly 9.5 years, and have always been the couple that says yes to everything. Yes to attending parties and trips, yes to helping me with trade shows or work events, yes to dinners or rec league activities. So when they asked me to be their photographer, videographer and bridesmaid, I said yes to all three! On Saturday, I will have a team of my trusted co-workers photographing and filming the wedding, which I am so grateful for.

For their Edmonton engagement session last fall, we decided to venture around Edmontons Old Stathcona and River Valley area. We began at El Cortez – a mexican bar where they have spent nights celebrating many milestones – which provided us with a unique space to shoot in. We then found ourselves down near the North Saskatchewan River where we ended the night with a glowing sunset. As you will be able to tell from these photos, their love is radiant. Congratulations Rebecca & Wade!
